For riders who are confident on two wheels and starting to stand on their pedals. We focus on building the skill and confidence to tackle green trails comfortably and safely.
For riders confident on green trails and working towards blues. We refine and build on existing bike skills with a focus on progressing to more technical terrain.
For teens who can ride trails but want to ride better. We cover core skills fast โ body position, cornering, braking and climbing โ in a fun, progression-focused environment.

A well-functioning mountain bike and a spare tube that fits your child's wheel size. BMX bikes and training wheels are not suitable for these programs. Unsure? Ask before registering.
A properly fitted helmet is mandatory โ no exceptions. This is non-negotiable for all participants regardless of age or experience.
A water bottle or hydration pack and a small trail snack to keep energy up. June evenings can be warm โ staying hydrated matters.
Sunscreen and bug spray are a must for Fort Saskatchewan trail riding in June. Apply before arriving โ we won't have time at the trailhead.
Weather-appropriate clothing โ layers are always a good idea! Closed-toe shoes required. Knee pads are recommended for younger riders.
A waiver is required before the first session. You'll receive it by email after registering โ please complete it ahead of time so we can get straight to riding.
If your child can ride on two wheels but hasn't ridden trails before, start with Dust Devils Beginners. If they've been on trails and can brake and steer comfortably, Intermediate is the right fit. Still not sure? Send me a message and I'll help you decide.
Both deliver the same 6 hours of certified coaching and cover the same skills โ the weekend camp is simply condensed into three sessions over one weekend. It's the right choice if weeknight commitments make the weekly series tough to fit in.
Light rain doesn't stop us โ trail riding in drizzle is part of the experience! We cancel for severe weather, thunderstorms, or poor air quality (AQHI 7+). You'll be notified as early as possible and we'll work to reschedule. See the full cancellation policy here.
